1882 - Birth of McNairn
James Harvey McNairn establishes J.H. McNairn Limited. This date establishes McNairn as the first company in North America to utilize roll to roll waxing technology.
1929 - Change of Destiny...
McNairn incorporates in the Province of Ontario and is led by a new ownership that still has presence today.
1950's & 60's - Paper, paper, paper...
McNairn focuses on "Building Papers" such as asphalt coated and laminated construction papers. Another major marketing segment is food related waxed liners for cereal, jello and biscuit boxes.
1975 - Growth!
McNairn establishes a new purpose built, modern facility in Whitby, Ontario.

McNairn establishes a plant in Westfield, Massachusetts, strengthening its international presence.
